This bed frame was built out of North American black walnut and hand-finished with Skidmore's beeswax finish.  All the wood came from the same walnut tree, which had been felled in Eastern Washington.  The curved ribs that make up the headboard function as seat backs to allow for comfortable sitting up in bed.

This table is made from an African mahogany known as khaya.  The veneer work on the tabletop is done from six panels of burled walnut.  It was hand-finished with three coats of Daly's Profin.

This coffee table is made from North American black walnut, with book-matched zebrawood veneers, and finished with teak oil.

This table is made from beech, finished with Daly's Profin.  It was the final assigned project of the Cabinetmaking and Architectural Woodworking program at Seattle Central's Wood Technology Center.

This cabinet is made out of maple and features raised panel doors and crown molding.
