 Dollhouse

I built this dollhouse for my daughter using salvaged off-cuts of material from previous projects. The siding is made from Khaya and the trim detail is made from walnut. The shingles are strips of painted card stock. The window panes are 1/16” thick clear acrylic. The windows slide open and closed and the front door has a functional spring-loaded latch.

Roll-Top Writing Desk

This miniature is made from North American black walnut, hand-finished with five coats of Daly's Satinthane.  Every piece was cut to its precise dimensions on a router table.  Assembly and final sanding was done entirely by hand.  It is fully functional, the roll-top comes all the way down and every drawer and writing board opens and closes.

You can see an animation of the desk top and drawers opening and closing in my animation reel.

 Zeppelin

I built this airship miniature for a composite effect for a steampunk-themed music video I directed. The full music video can be viewed here.

Rocking Chair

This bass rocking chair was my first attempt at making dollhouse furniture at 1/12 scale.  It was fully hand carved using an x-acto knife and assembled by hand.
